Medford
Settled in 1630, Medford lies northwest of Boston. Historically, Medford had a track record for being an industrial center with the manufacturing of brick, tile, rum, crackers and clipper ships. Today, Medford has transformed into being a great residential area for those who want a bit more space while being close to Boston.
Home to Tufts University, Medford offers an array of housing stock options. There are select areas with a more urban-like feel like Station Landing or Medford Square. Both offer a prime location with shopping, restaurants and public transportation at your fingertips. To the west, one will find more single family homes that are more spread out with yards and driveways.
